Placement Assistance & Guarantee Policy
Document Status: Draft — Final Management/Legal Approval Required
Eligibility, scope, student responsibilities and governance of placement claims.
1. Purpose
This policy defines the scope of placement assistance offered by Grow Biz Academy, the conditions for any separately advertised placement guarantee, student eligibility requirements, and the responsibilities of both the Academy and the student.
Default rule: Grow Biz Academy provides placement assistance. A placement guarantee applies only when the specific program offer and the student's signed admission documents expressly state that a placement guarantee is included and identify the applicable conditions.
2. Definitions
- Placement Assistance — career preparation and access to suitable job opportunities, employer coordination, interview preparation and application support.
- Placement Guarantee — a separately documented commitment that applies only to a qualifying program and only under the written conditions in the applicable program schedule/admission agreement.
- Placement Eligible — a student who has completed all required academic, attendance, fee, conduct and career-readiness conditions.
- Placement Window — the period during which an eligible student receives active placement support, normally up to 6 months from the date of placement eligibility unless the program schedule states otherwise.
3. Placement Assistance Includes
- Resume and LinkedIn profile review.
- Portfolio/project readiness guidance where relevant to the program.
- Mock interviews and interview preparation.
- Job-opportunity sharing based on profile fit and available employer demand.
- Application and interview coordination where the Academy or a placement partner is managing the opportunity.
- Interview feedback and reasonable re-preparation support when available.
4. Eligibility Requirements
- All program fees and approved installment dues must be paid or current.
- Minimum 75% academic attendance unless the program specifies a higher requirement.
- Required assignments, assessments and capstone/project work completed to the minimum passing standard.
- No unresolved academic-integrity or serious conduct violation.
- Required resume, profile, portfolio and placement documents completed.
- Participation in assigned career-readiness sessions and mock interviews.
- Timely response to placement communication, normally within 24 hours on working days.
- Reasonable flexibility on role, employer, work mode and location consistent with the student's program and stated preferences.
5. Placement Guarantee Governance
- Never describe a program as having a placement guarantee unless the guarantee is approved for that program and the written terms are available to the student before payment.
- A general website statement, social-media post or verbal statement by a counsellor does not override the signed program terms.
- Where a guarantee is included, the Academy's obligation, eligibility criteria, support period, student responsibilities and remedy must be stated in writing.
- No employee may promise a specific employer, salary, job title, joining date or location unless separately confirmed in writing by the employer.
6. Student Responsibilities
- Attend interviews professionally and on time.
- Provide accurate education, experience and identity information.
- Do not reject multiple suitable opportunities without documented reason if relying on a placement-guarantee benefit.
- Complete employer assessments honestly and independently.
- Inform the Academy promptly about interviews, offers, rejections and joining status.
7. Exclusions / Loss of Eligibility
- False documents or material misrepresentation.
- Repeated non-response, missed interviews or refusal to participate in the placement process.
- Non-payment of fees beyond an approved grace/arrangement.
- Academic or conduct disqualification.
- Rejection of suitable opportunities solely for preferences outside the agreed program conditions.
- Employer-side hiring freezes, role cancellation or background-verification failure are not controlled by the Academy.
8. Outcome and Salary Disclaimer
Employment decisions are made by employers. Salary, role, location, work mode and joining date depend on the employer, the student's profile, market conditions and interview performance. Placement assistance does not by itself guarantee employment.
9. Escalation
Students may raise placement-support concerns through the official Academy support channel. Disputes about eligibility or policy interpretation should be escalated to the Placement Manager and then the Academy Head/Director.
10. Publication Control
Before this policy is linked from the public website, management should confirm that all current advertisements, counsellor scripts, admission documents and program pages use the same placement language.
